These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SocialStack's services provided by SocialStack LLC ("SocialStack," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our services you agree to these Terms.
SocialStack is a done-for-you social media service for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. You send raw video clips; we edit them into original Reels, write captions, publish them to the accounts you connect, reply to comments and messages where the platform allows it, and report on what we did. Each plan includes a set number of original Reels per brand per calendar month (12–30, depending on the plan) and the service levels described on our pricing page, which forms part of these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. To use Instagram automation you must have a valid Instagram professional account connected to a Facebook Page. To use TikTok automation you must have a valid TikTok account. To use YouTube automation you must have a valid YouTube channel. By using SocialStack you represent that you meet these requirements and have authority to authorize posting to your accounts.

Plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in US dollars plus any applicable tax, through Stripe. Annual plans cost ten times the monthly price (two months free). If a payment fails, we may pause the service until it succeeds. We will tell you at least 30 days before any price change applies to your subscription; a price we have agreed to keep for you (for example after a plan change) is honored until the date we gave you. All fees are non-refundable except under Section 7 (30-Day Money-Back Guarantee) and Section 8 (Output Guarantee).
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (every month, or every year on an annual plan) at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged, until you cancel. Before you pay, we show you the price, how often you will be charged and how to cancel, and we ask for your consent to these Terms and to the automatic renewal; we keep a record of that consent. On annual plans we email you a reminder before the renewal date. You can cancel online at any time (Section 9).
3 free Reels from your clips in 48 hours: you send 3 to 10 of your own clips through our request form and we send back 3 finished Reels. The sample is free: no card and no account connection are needed, nothing is charged, and it does not start a subscription. One sample per business. You may use the sample Reels; we use your clips only to make them.
If you cancel within 30 days of your first subscription payment, we refund that payment in full (including an annual payment) to your original payment method within 5 business days. Request it from your dashboard (Support & billing > Manage subscription > Cancel) or by emailing hunter@trysocialstack.com. The guarantee applies once per customer and business, to the first payment only; one-time add-ons already delivered are not refunded. Service ends when the refund is issued.
Each plan includes a set number of original Reels per brand per calendar month. If we publish fewer for reasons on our side, we credit the shortfall pro rata on your next invoice: credit = (Reels short / Reels included) x that brand's share of your monthly fee. It does not apply to Reels not published because your video library ran out of usable footage, your account was paused (by you or for non-payment) or disconnected, or a platform refused or restricted the post. Credits have no cash value and are applied within one billing cycle.
You can cancel at any time in one click from your dashboard (Support & billing > Manage subscription > Cancel subscription), or by emailing hunter@trysocialstack.com from the email address on your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and your service continues until then; you can withdraw a scheduled cancellation from your dashboard before that date. We confirm every cancellation by email. Except under Sections 7 and 8, no refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
You retain ownership of all video content you provide to SocialStack. AI-generated captions created by SocialStack become your property upon delivery. You grant SocialStack a limited license to use your content solely for the purpose of providing our services.
SocialStack is AI-assisted: AI edits your clips, writes captions and drafts replies in your voice. Automated DMs are labelled, and AI-generated media is labelled where platforms require it. You can turn on caption approval to review captions before they post. Narration in your own voice is made only with the recorded consent of the voice's owner, which can be withdrawn at any time. You remain responsible for the content published on your accounts.
AI Reels add-on. The AI Reels add-on creates short videos with third-party AI video models, based on our content plan and your brand's style. To match your look, we may send a few frames from your own videos to our AI video provider, which may use them to improve its models; you can switch this off in your dashboard at any time. Every AI Reel is labelled as made with AI in its caption and with the platforms' AI labels where available, and is not posted without your approval unless you turn on automatic posting after the readiness checks. You are responsible for the content you approve. We don't use AI Reels to depict real people, children, logos or trademarks, or to make medical or product claims.
You agree that all content posted through SocialStack will comply with the Terms of Use and Community Guidelines of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. SocialStack is not responsible for account suspensions or bans resulting from content that violates any platform's policies. Comment and DM replies on your account start once Meta approves SocialStack's app (App Review in progress). Until then you get everything else in your plan. TikTok posts may be published as private (visible only to you) until TikTok approves SocialStack's app. We tell you when public posting is on. Our use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service (youtube.com/t/terms). Our use of TikTok API Services is subject to TikTok's Terms of Service (tiktok.com/legal/terms-of-service).
You may not use SocialStack to post content that:
We only publish reviews and results from real customers, with their permission. Founding 50: the first 50 customers can keep Starter at $297 or Pro at $597 a month for as long as they stay subscribed, in exchange for a published, dated case study. The discount is disclosed in the case study. Any customer who receives a discount or other benefit in exchange for a case study or review is identified as such wherever it is published.
We strive for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by Instagram API changes, Meta platform outages, or factors outside our control. This does not limit the Output Guarantee in Section 8.
SocialStack's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid in the 30 days preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost revenue, lost followers, or reputational damage.
SocialStack does not guarantee follower growth, views, engagement or revenue. We guarantee the work: the Reels your plan includes, published as described. Growth depends on many factors outside our control.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or engage in activity that could harm SocialStack or its other clients.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Texas.
We may update these Terms from time to time and will email you about significant changes. Changes to prices or to automatic-renewal terms apply to your subscription only after at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
